A german eco shouldn't drain before somebody else's (barring a couple civs) if the german is actually mixing units. Pure dopples is stupid.

Dragoons are ofc not good vs dopps, unless you hit-and-run... And doppels are not slow if you avoid solingen steel. If solingen steel didn't slow them down, or only by 10-20%, they would've been op, but not like they are now, no.
They only have 20 attack, yeah they have 3x vs cav and 2 splash damage, but still, only 20 ...
