Church card is nice.. kind of a preference thing... I use it. I also like wood trickle (2nd card after eco theory) over exotic hardwoods.
Unless screwed on hunts, I up with 23 villagers every time and have never been stuck in II. I can still go straight with TCs up and pump out villagers faster. I typically get between 2.1k ...

@ alexd: the reason that is funny, is cause if you wait to use it as your last wonder, you get 20 villagers.
