hey, id like some help because i like the indians but im rather confused
the main problem is that villagers cost wood, so i dont know where to find the balance, its kind of hard to age up properly when i dont know when to put which villagers on what. also the units. i see people using sepoy alot. (and ashigaru for japan) why? isnt gurkha better ...

russia is good, loads of units, cheap and weak, but loads of them. once i got rushed about 8 mins into the game by 5 cossacks and a *** ton of strelets. they got my villagers that where out hunting and my fb, i thought i was dead, but i just got some musks and some longbowmen. the longbowmen totallydecimated the strelets
