Ok, for the map controll i agree, moving on: your enemy has to focus atack only on one colony, but this colony has the troops and deffences of 2 colonies, so if your playing 2v2 with a much better and expirienced players this is a good tact.

For a strong city def. I offer you go nomad and merge the 2 colonies (yours and your friend). That way you dont have to run every time yout ally is attacked or he dont have to run to you.However you also build a extra large colony with the deffence of 2 player(towers, troops etc.)

British are good for their Longbow men but there are truely better civs.If u can play well all civs are good 4 u.My top 5 is 1:Spanish 2:Ottoman3:Dutch:4Germans5:British

Yes but there is a very easy weay you cen do this.I run vista.Had the same problem with the firewall installer thing. I just Searched the file FirewallInstallerHelp.I found it and put it in to game dir.Thats what i did. Hope it helps'. :)

Yes the dutch is a very good civilization. I play Dutch ever since i started playng a game. The banks are very good and with dutch i hit Imperial for 16 minutes.However their Troops ar very poor(skirmishers)
