i think that with my experience in the game microsoft has made a mistake. With dutch you can only make 50 settlers and 8 banks(it surprised me that most people don't know how to build more than 6). If you try a no rush game (40 mins for example) you'll see that 8 banks don't worth as 50 settlers gathering coin. If you want to survive in a game ...
