Aloysius:The ladders are now working properly.
There was a problem with the ESO2 backend software that caused the Ladders to stop working, and although the games will show up in your stats, any games played from the 25th to the 9th will not show up on the Ladders.

Captain Beyond:Infantry spam and good raiding isnยดt an economic compensation for lacking a factory.
Balancing in the game does not make everything just 'right'. Some civs are stronger in producing military, stronger units, stronger eco etc.

Please note that this is occuring on all the ladders. For AoE, TAD and TWC.

Most strategies are written for 1v1.
Anyway, some basics about 1v1 in my opinion:
Put more focus on getting treasures.
Do NOT attack their TC right away if you have only a handful of units; instead, attack and try and choke his vills&eco. Do that and age and you win, simple.
